In a saucepan over medium heat, combine red currants, sugar, and water.
Bring to a boil, then reduce to a low heat and continue to cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from the heat and set aside for 10 minutes to cool.
In a blender or food processor, puree the mixture until smooth.
To remove the seeds, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve.
Fill popsicle molds halfway with the mixture and insert sticks.
Freeze for at least 4 hours, or until the mixture is firm.
Run molds under warm water for a few seconds to remove popsicles.
