Homemade Mango and Watermelon Popsicles Recipe

These refreshing and delicious homemade mango and watermelon popsicles are ideal for a hot summer day. They're made with fresh fruit and a honey-lime mixture that adds just enough sweetness and tanginess.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 mango, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 cups diced watermelon

Time Needed

  • Prep Time: 15 minutes
  • Cook Time: 4 hours
  • Total Time: 4 hours, 15 minutes

Instructions

  • Puree the mango in a blender until smooth.
  • Puree the watermelon in a separate blender until smooth.
  • Combine the honey and water in a small saucepan.
  • Stir constantly over medium heat until the honey is dissolved.
  • Remove from the heat and add the lime juice.
  • Distribute the mango puree evenly between 8 popsicle molds.
  • Fill each mold about a third of the way with the honey-lime mixture.
  • 1 hour in the freezer.
  • Once the honey-lime mixture has partially frozen, divide the watermelon puree evenly among the molds, filling each one halfway.
  • Insert popsicle sticks and freeze for 3 hours, or until firm.
  • To serve, briefly run the popsicle molds under warm water to loosen the popsicles from the molds.
  • Serve right away.
